Marcella
Marcella’s career in cosmetology began in 2016 at the Union County Vocational Technical School, however, her passion for the beauty industry has always been prevalent. Initially, Marcella focused primarily on working as a freelance makeup artist, but it wasn’t long until she established herself as a hair colorist and stylist. Whether it is formal hair and makeup for a special event or a fresh head of highlights, Marcella is always guaranteed to give her clients the care they need.Dedicated to being the best she could be, Marcella is constantly eager to learn and remains current with trends and styles. Her love for the business, her clients, and desire to work alongside strong, supportive, and intelligent cosmetologists is what ultimately lead her to open her own salon. It has been her dream to create an environment where leading operators make people feel their best in a space that all are welcomed and encouraged to be themselves. She is a strong believer in doing what she loves and is beyond grateful to be working in her own salon with the most incredible women.
Heather
Heather’s cosmetology journey started immediately after graduating high school. She enrolled in Capri Institute and, within the same week she began classes, she found her first job at a salon, there was no turning back for her. She’s the stylist she is today because of that time she spent assisting, watching her coworkers, and learning the in’s & out’s of the beauty industry. In addition to her cosmetology license, Heather's dedication to helping people feel good is evident as she also became certified as a group fitness instructor. Now, with almost 10 years experience as a cosmetologist, as well as her passion for fitness, she is your go to girl for a confidence boost!
Karen
Karen's attraction to working in the cosmetology industry is directly derived from her desire to wake up every day and do what she loves. She began her career at the Union County Vocational School as a high school student and has continued to follow her heart while always feeling so fortunate to have found her passion at such an early age. For Karen, doing someone's hair goes beyond just doing a service. Although she loves doing hair, the connection she gets to make with clients and the way she is able to help people feel beautiful is actually the best part of her job. Karen is very diligent and always gives her undivided attention to everyone who sits in her chair. She is making the world look and feel good, one appointment at a time!
Rebecca "Becky"
Becky’s cosmetology journey started in 2018 at Raritan Valley Community College and instantly knew she was in the right spot. With a bubbly personality and having the most caring soul, she knew she needed a career that allows her to closely connect with the people around her. Becky stays on top of all relevant trends and is committed to ensuring that all her clients leave the salon feeling better than ever. Her favorite technique is balayage and loves to continually learn and perfect her craft. Beyond her craft, Becky’s ability to remain open minded is evident in her love for traveling and experiencing other cultures. In previous years, she has spent time in South Korea and Spain, in which she still relates trends from her time there to life today. It is safe to say that when you sit in Becky’s chair you are guaranteed much more than great hair.
Alaina
Alaina is the girl who can literally do it all! Specializing in women’s color, haircuts, and makeup, she is guaranteed to make you feel beautiful for all of life’s special occasions! From a killer balayage to a glowy glam, she has perfected her craft while still remaining open minded to any new trends the industry has to offer. Besides being a master of many different services, her greatest strength is her charisma. Talking to her is effortless and she has nothing but compassion for everyone that sits in her chair. When she isn’t at Salon Peak, she is spending quality time with her son, Blaise, who is her greatest motivator. She aspires to do amazing things in this career and we are not only confident, but certain that she will. Book with her and you will see just why she is so incredible for yourself.
Gianna
Gianna's cosmetology journey started quickly after she graduated highschool. She enrolled at Paul Mitchell Partner School and immediately started her first assisting position. She fell in love with being in the salon atmosphere, watching her coworker create different looks, and learning all there is about hair. After spending time in this position and being dedicated to the guests she served, she knew there was no turning back. Carrying the knowledge she gained from early in her career, Gianna is well versed in cuts, styling, and color transformations however, fashion colors is really where you can see her passion come into play. Whether is its a sultry red, vibrant pink, or a moody green, she is your go to girl for all vivid looks. While many stylist might shy away from stepping outside of the box, Gianna is there to face all hair challenges head on! I attribute these skills to her incredible amount of patience and attention to detail. After a long day at the salon her you can find her coaching youth volleyball or cuddling with her dog Bean!
Emily
Emily, our most recent graduate of Innovate Salon Academy, has been nothing but dedicated to honing in on her cosmetology career. As part of the Salon Peak team, she has gained a strong grasp on hair concepts and skills from not only watching her coworkers create, but working hands on herself. As a curly girl, she has ample knowledge in all enhancing natural waves and the styling products that strengthen these looks. Beyond her qualifications, she embodies a youthful energy, fun spirit, and friendly nature. Emily brings an upbeat vibe to every guest experience’s and is extremely gifted in balancing hard work with having fun. One of the most admirable characteristics about Emily is her devotion to creating a comfortable and caring environment. “Treat others the way you would like to be treated,” has slowly evolved into her way of life. We expect Emily to be taking her clients own soon but until then, you can catch her doing bouncy blowouts, shiny glazes, and making everyone laugh at Salon Peak!
Juliette
After spending over a year pursuing a psychology degree at Penn State, Juliette came to the realization that she was on the wrong path. Her change of heart stemmed from wanting a career that would allow her to be on her feet and, more importantly, express her creativity. When Juliette was younger, she always loved experimenting with her own hair, which ultimately lead her to take a leap of faith and begin a career in the beauty industry. Juliette started assisting at Salon Peak in November 2023, just a month before she graduated from cosmetology school. Since then, her passion for hair has only grown. She’s always eager to learn and consistently strives to get better at her craft. She is dedicated to cultivating her skills and growing in all areas of hairstyling, but blonding and color services will always hold a special place in her heart. Her understanding of color theory comes naturally to her and will carry her throughout her future behind the chair. We are equally as excited as she is to watch all she will accomplish as part of our team at Salon Peak!
Francesca
At the age of 13, Fran got her first job answering phones & sweeping hair at a hair salon. Soon after, she started cosmetology school at the Union County Vocational School and she swears she had the best time when she was learning and growing as a hairstylist. Over the years Fran has become interested most in curly hair styles and creating beautiful blondes. She was lucky enough to find her passion at such a young age. Now, with 9 years of experience in the hair industry, she still thinks it is such an amazing feeling to help women feel beautiful and confident. She will continue to learn and grow as a hairstylist to become the best version of herself.
Jackie Salon Coordinator
Jackie is the girl that makes it all happen. Although she has over a decade of experience in the salon world, she does so much more than just book appointments. She is the friendly voice behind the phone, organizer of all chaos, and greatest believer in this team. We are beyond grateful for all that she does for us and our clients.
